April 2017

Our newsletter is coming out in the midst of Holy Week, the most sacred week in the Church's liturgical year. At the beginning of Lent, the Notre Dame community was encouraged to remember the unconditional love God has for each one of us. The Easter mysteries are solid evidence of that love.

A line from the prophet Isaiah may speak to us and become our own this Holy Week and Easter. "God indeed is my savior; I am confident and unafraid. My strength and courage is the Lord, and He has been my savior." Is. 12: 2-3

Enjoy catching up on some Notre Dame news, especially the stories about our young scholars, award winners and Sr. Mary's Easter message. Let us continue to pray for peace in our world and work for justice so that the human rights of each person throughout the world are honored and respected.

Easter blessings,
Dr. Virginia O'Brien, SU
