Welcome to the Children's Room Newsletter!

Here you'll find everything going on in the library 
 for our smallest patrons this month. We have made some changes and now have story times for children from birth to 9! And, we added a Graphic Novel book club for the older kids. Plus, there are always new books coming in  
for ALL our patrons!
Have you tried a Wonderbook yet???   
 
Just to let you know, the R.H.L. will be represented at "Trunk or Treat" this year! Look for us! 
 
 
 

 

 
Story Times for the Month of October

Wednesday "Littles and Letters"
Story Times
This series begins on October 2nd
and we will be doing the letter "A" 
11:00 to 11:45 
This is for ages 3-5  
and will be held in the Couper Room

After-School Story Time
in the Children's Room 
 
will be changing to Wednesday afternoons!  
They will begin on October 2 at 4:30 PM. This is a drop-in story time for our Kindergarten through Third grade friends and ends at 5:15.

Please try to read one of the Nathan Hale books or one of the Science Comic books in the Graphic Novel  section in the Children's Room. You could also bring a graphic novel recommendation to this meeting

What is meant by a story walk? It means that you are able to READ a book by following the pages set up along the path you are walking.  
A joint presentation by the R.H.L. and the Littleton Conservation Trust.

We own two copies of each book at the RHL and we can always request one from another library if it's not here when you come in. You can always reserve copies from home, too!
 
This is a challenge for 4th, 5th and 6th graders. Read any five books and vote for your favorite in March 2020.
