SEL - A Comprehensive Exploration for School District Leaders

A new era in education is emerging, shifting our emphasis toward whole child education. District leaders who become experts in
SEL
will be at a distinct advantage, improving academic outcomes, reducing the potential for violence, and creating happier faculty.

- Part One: Monday, November 4, 2019
This session will emphasize the underpinnings of SEL, including a new definition, a theoretical framework, and the internal/external barriers to successful learning.
- Part Two: Friday, January 10, 2020
This session will explore 15 key SEL’s not commonly known. Examine the intersection of individual and organizational needs. Understand how school culture supports SEL with the ultimate reward of organizational health.
- Part Three: Monday, April 20, 2020
The final session examines the 15 pivotal aspects of SEL. Evaluate your own program and learn how to improve services to students through strengthening your faculty.
