Meet Caleb, who will be a freshman at the University of Cincinnati this fall, working toward his bachelor's degree in information technology.
Caleb, 17, has autism spectrum disorder, ADHD and other medical conditions. Shortly before starting high school, his mom passed away. Though he carried burdens not shared by his classmates, Caleb graduated from Shroder High School in May with a 4.0 GPA -- the third highest in his class.

Waiting List Changes
Ohio's waiver waiting list rule changes
Sept. 1. This summer our Introduction and Eligibility team hosted in-person information sessions about these changes and what to expect.
If you weren't able to attend one of the sessions, you can watch the presentation above to learn what's changing and how the new rule will affect you. This video, which is posted on our YouTube page, provides an overview of the coming changes.

Streetcar Celebration
Join Metro, HCDDS and many others on Sunday, Sept. 9 to celebrate the second anniversary of the streetcar with food, activities and more.
The celebration is noon to 5 p.m. at various stops along the route.

Rock the Vote
Rock the Vote is hosting a non-partisan voter registration rally from 3-6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8. The event includes music, food trucks, drinks and more. It's at the Kennedy Heights Art Center Annex on Montgomery Road.

The Over-the-Rhine International Film Festival is set for Sept. 26-30. This is the new name and expanded vision for the successful Cincinnati ReelAbilities Film Festival which came to Cincinnati in 2011. In 2018, LADD is expanding the scope of the Festival to move beyond a singular focus on disability-specific programming to focus on a celebration of our shared humanity. It f
eatures more than 40 films, special events and more.
