Women to Women Announces 
Calendar of Events
    The Women to Women Giving Circle has announced the dates of three spring-summer events. All of the events are free and open to the public.  Read More.
IPCF Welcomes New Endowments
Virginia Schmult, a local literacy advocate, has established a new endowment at Illinois Prairie Community Foundation that will provide support for literacy and reading programs in McLean, DeWitt, Livingston and Logan Counties. Ms Schmult has been a volunteer tutor with STAR Adult Literacy for 15 years and a volunteer with Books to Benefit since the group's inception. "IPCF was a natural fit for my goals," said Ms Schmult. "Having the endowment here expands the reach to multiple programs and geographic areas." Read more.
Youth Engaged in Philanthropy (YEP) Celebrates!
YEP members have had a very busy winter! In November they reviewed 20 grant applications for youth-focused programs. With $10,000 to grant and $57,000 in requested funding, the group had to make difficult decisions. Read more.
 

Grants Update
IPCF is proud to financially assist many wonderful community programs and events through five annual competitive grant cycles. Here are a few that are currently in the news:

West Bloomington Active Garden received $4,000 from Youth Engaged in Philanthropy (YEP) to purchase supplies for the garden to help meet its full potential. Read more.
