NEW CLASS ALERT!

Zumba 
Starting on
September 02, 2018, 
at 12:15pm
with Raymond Ortega 

Throughout the class Raymond follows the Zumba formula by incorporating new and past Zumba moves from around the world. Coming back from the Zumba convention where instructors learn new techniques, skills, new dance choreography, and get new information for the coming year, such as, the new flavors of music that will be available, Raymond's class will incorporate but will not be limited to: Reggaeton , Salsa, Dembow, Soca (Tobago, and Trinidad), Cumba (Columbia), Brazilian (Funk, Charme), Hatian, Merenge (Colombia, Venezuela), Hip Hop, Caribbean, Dominican, and many more. Zumba is a Latin based company that was created to being together all age groups, races, and body types. Zumbas' motto is, 



" Zumba is for everyone by all, together we move the world." Raymond aims to teach a class that is full of laughter, fun and most importantly inspires it's students to dance like no one is around."

TENNIS


CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS SEPTEMBER 15TH AND 16TH
 
  • The 2018 El Gancho Club Championships will take place the weekend of September 15-16. This terrific event will decide the 2018 club champions in women's singles and doubles, men's singles and doubles as well as mixed.
 
  • The draws will be progressive. This means that there will only be only one draw for each event with higher seeded teams starting later in the draw than the lower seeds.
 
  • Participants may play up to 3 events (although be ready for back to back matches if you take this route).
 
  • Players must be current El Gancho members. Cost is $15 per event.
 
  • To sign up, please email tennis@elgancho with your name, event(s), doubles partner(s) and any time constraint(s).
 
  • We will be accepting entries through Tuesday evening (09/11) . Draws will be posted by Wednesday afternoon (09/12) .

"An advanced level bodyworker, Darcy Nicholson had been a licensed, professional massage therapist since 1995. Trained in numerous modalities, Darcy focuses on what each individual client may need using her intuitive awareness to give a nurturing integrative massage that can combine deep tissue, Swedish, sports, polarity, shiatsu, reflexology, cranial sacral, and prenatal techniques.  She has been based in Santa Fe since 1992 and graduated massage school from Dr. Scherer's Academy of Natural Healing in 1994. She has experienced and done massage while traveling and living in other countries including Bali, Australia, and Italy. She also works as an astrologer and is now a student at the Santa Fe Community College to pursue a degree in nursing. She is very happy to be a part of the El Gancho community and is looking forward to serving you."
