Buckland Sidewalk Dedication
Representatives from the Town of South Windsor participated in a Buckland Road Sidewalk dedication held on Saturday, September 21, 2019. The ceremony culminated in a ribbon tying ( shown bottom right ), demonstrating the connectivity of sidewalks for resident pedestrians.

The project was funded by CTDOT through the CRCOG LOTCIP program. Since the program’s inception in 2014, 27 projects totaling approximately $35M have been awarded to CRCOG towns, which have involved the construction of 63,000 feet of sidewalk.

 Leveraging Municipal and Nonprofit Assets to Achieve Improved Community Outcomes: Governance & Collective Impact Strategies
As a partner organization of UConn’s Public Service Executive Leadership Collaborative , members of the Capitol Regional Council of Governments and their employees receive a substantial discount to attend the full-day workshop in a shared learning environment with public sector and nonprofit professionals. The next full-day workshop of the Collaborative will be Friday, October 25, Leveraging Municipal and Nonprofit Assets to Achieve Improved Community Outcomes: Governance & Collective Impact Strategies , with Thomas L. Phillips of TL Phillips Consulting Services. The workshop will be held from 9am - 4pm at the UConn Hartford Campus. Lunch will be provided.

ez-IQC User Group Meeting October 31st 
You are all welcome to join CRCOG and Gordian at the Annual ezIQC User Group Meeting on  October 31st 10:30am  at the Glastonbury Boathouse. Since 2009 CRCOG has partnered with Gordian Group to provide the ezIQC Job Order Contracting Construction Program. The ezIQC Program provides immediate access to local, competitively awarded construction contracts and is a great alternative to traditional construction procurement.
