MHA Student at AHA Leadership Summit
MHA student Reynalda Davis attended the American Hospital Association Leadership Summit; her attendance was supported by a scholarship from the AHA Institute for Diversity and Health Equity.

Of her experience, Davis said " While there I was exposed to leaders and seminars on board of trustee strategies, Catholic hospitals' growth and challenges, diversity and inclusion of clinical staff, and the fabulous shores of sunny San Diego."

Davis was also recently featured in the Catholic Health World article "Minority graduate students in health administration learn the difference mission makes."

Dr. Donna Arnett, Dean and Professor of Epidemiology, will give a plenary session at the 2018 American College of Epidemiology annual meeting , in Cincinnati September 23 to 25. Arnett will speak on "Precision Medicine and Precision Public Health."
Registration is open for the The 2018 Annual Kentucky Neuroscience Institute’s Clinical-Translational Research Symposium.

Radiation & Glioblastoma Outcomes
Dr. Bin Huang , Biostatistics, is the lead author of “Characteristics and survival outcomes associated with the lack of radiation in the treatment of glioblastoma,” appearing in Medical Oncology . Co-authors are Dr. Therese A. Dolecek , University of Illinois at Chicago School of Public Health; Dr. Quan Chen , Cancer Biostatistics and Markey Cancer Center; Dr. Catherine R. Garcia , Markey Cancer Center; Dr. Thomas Pittman , Markey Cancer Center; and Dr. John L. Villano , UK College of Medicine.
