EDUCATION SESSION #1059
The Ascent From Family Office to Global Asset Manager
When is a family office not a family office? When it is a global asset management firm that directs funding to small businesses in 62 countries.

Hear how Janet McKinley and Sam Miller Hicks (mother and step-daughter) transformed their family investment office and incorporated multiple dimensions of creating and measuring impact. Understand the delicate balance between philanthropy and the fiduciary responsibility to outside investors in the firm, while generating market-based, risk-adjusted returns. Take note of the thought behind the structure of their firm and lessons learned.

Share your thoughts with peers as you network over cocktails and hor d’oeuvres following the conversation.
