Principal's Notes
Dear Parents and Families,

I hope everyone had a blessed and peaceful weekend. The weather seems to have broken, so ideally we will no longer be struggling through immense heat and humidity. If your child has a coat or sweater, please write their name inside so that we can identify it when it gets left out at recess or in the cafeteria. Our lost and found is located in the cafeteria and soon will be overflowing.

Below are some quick notes for the upcoming week:
  • Monday, 9/10: Band Parent Meeting 7:00 PM in cafeteria
  • Monday 9/10-9/28: Scantron Testing
  • Thursday, 9/13: Band Begins
  • Friday, 9/21: 11:30 Dismissal (Professional Development)

PTO EVENTS:
  • Tuesday, 9/18, 2:30: Auction Committee Meeting (All Purpose Room)
  • Wednesday, 9/26, 2:30: PTO Meeting (All Purpose Room)
  • Friday, 10/26, 6:00: 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat

Hot Lunch is being served beginning today. If anyone has any questions please call our front office. We no longer are selling water in the cafeteria, but still offer milk and chocolate milk.

Our PTO is off and running and looking into events and meetings to ensure this will be a great year.
Please see the above bulleted list for events and meetings on the horizon.

SCANTRON Testing will take place over the next three weeks. The tests take place first thing in the morning, so please make sure your child arrives on time on testing days.

Claire's Gourmet forms have been sent home for the annual fundraiser. Please return the forms to the front office if you will be participating.

Has your child's teacher gone above and beyond? If so, please email info@stmikes22003.org and let us know! Our teachers do so much for our students but often our principal doesn't hear the specific details. Please email in your story, however brief, so we can ensure we recognize the amazing work our teachers do!

God bless,

Daniel Cinalli
Principal
