Donations to the Foundation are deposited in the endowment fund and interest earned on the principal investment is used to help fund special Library projects. DuPagePads Run 4 Home

The DuPagePads 14th Annual Run 4 Home offers a 10K & 5K Run and a 5K & 1K Walk. The CARA-certified race and USATF-certified course will take runners and walkers through scenic streets of Wheaton and back to DuPagePads for a celebration. Features include the Run 4 Home Kids Corner with games, prizes, face painting and more! Register or donate.

UPCOMING BOOK DISCUSSIONS

Are you always looking for a new book to read? Do you ever wonder whether other people had similar reactions to a particular book or author? The Glen Ellyn Public Library hosts book discussions for all ages and interest levels and provides access to copies of the discussion titles. Here are a couple of options for book discussions happening this week at the Glen Ellyn Public Library. Each month, kids in grades 3-5 and their parents can enjoy delicious pizza, friendly conversation, and fun activities during the Plots n' Pizza book club. Join us for our September discussion on Monday, September 10 from 6-7 pm. On Thursday, September 13 from 7-8 pm, we will be discussing Hillbilly Elegy: A Memoir of a Family and Culture in Crisis by J.D. Vance.
