Bravo to our Nearly 200 Team Match Dancers!
Heart of Dance is so proud of the  5 th  and 8th grade students who participated in the Colors of the Rainbow Team Match December 10! Three Team Matches took place and dancers from throughout Minnesota demonstrated  Respect, Elegance, and Teamwork  as they showcased the Merengue, Tango, Foxtrot, Waltz, Swing, Rumba, and Salsa. Every team received a trophy and every dancer a medal. Congratulations to all!

The Foxtrot video above shows the respectful elegance demonstrated by fifth graders at our final Team Match of the day. More photos and videos from the Team Match will come to our website shortly,  generously provided by C.J. Hurst and Rory Thomas.
Thank you!

A big thank you to our volunteers, school partners, educators, families, and all those who made the event a special day to remember.

Programming is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund. We are also grateful for the support of The Emerald Foundation, F. R. Bigelow Foundation, Mardag Foundation, The Saint Paul Foundation and Gage Family Foundation, as well as many generous individual donors and volunteers. This activity is funded, in part, by an appropriation from the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the State's general fund.
