FIESTA 2018: THE GOLD STANDARD
Come join us on February 17, 2018 at the La Vista Conference Center as we celebrate the best school in town!  FIESTA 2018 promises to be an evening filled with fun, amazing food, good friends and fantastic auction items that you don't want to miss.  So grab some fellow Mercy girls and join in the fun!  If you can't make it, you can still get involved!

                -Donate a bottle of wine ($20 value or more)

ALUMNAE AWARDS
Alumnae we need your help!  We know Mercy Alumnae are doing amazing things in their communities and we want to recognize those accomplishments.  If you know a Woman of Mercy who is making an impact please consider nominating her for the   Distinguished Woman of Mercy Alumna Award for women who have graduated more than 15 years ago or the  Young Woman of Mercy Alumna Award for women who have graduated 5 to 15 years ago.  The recipients of these awards will be announced at FIESTA 2018 on Saturday, February 17 and honored at the All-School Reunion on Sunday, June 3.  Please help us honor our amazing alumnae by filling out a nomination form by January 1, 2018.

YEAR-END-APPEAL
If you are grateful for your Mercy education and want another deserving student to have the same opportunity, please consider a year-end donation to Mercy High School. Not only will you make a difference in a student's life, your gift is most likely tax deductible. Mailed gifts postmarked by 12/31/17 can benefit you this current tax year.

8TH GRACE SCHOLARSHIP & 
PLACEMENT EXAM
Please let your family, friends and neighbors know about our exam, Saturday, January 13 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. In order to qualify for a scholarship, student must take the exam. More than $62,000 annually is given in 8th grade scholarships.

A special presentation on Negotiated Tuition, intended for interested parents, will be given by Sr. Delores Hannon, RSM, President. The presentation will also be given in Spanish.

THE MERCIAN
The Mercian, with a new look and feel, will be distributed in January.  Please remember to share with us your news and updates so we can include in the issue this spring. TRIVIA NIGHT
Mercy High School's Monarch Parents Club is sponsoring a Trivia Night on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the school. Cost is $240 for a team of eight players (21 and older) and includes dinner and drinks. The event begins with a social hour and dinner at 6:00 p.m. with the first round of trivia starting at 7:00 p.m.  There are only about 6 tables left!

Prizes will be given to 1st and 2nd Place teams and for best table theme. Costumes are encouraged but not required

NHS/HOLY CROSS BLOOD DRIVE
Every two seconds someone in the United States needs blood! Mark your calendar now for  Mercy's National Honor Society and Holy Cross Catholic Church Red Cross blood drive. The event is on Saturday, January 27, 2018, from 7:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the Holy Cross School cafeteria. Register in early January with the information on the flier below.
