Welcome Back Everyone,

We are so excited to kick ff the 2018-2019 School Year! Today's issue of Ben's Buzz has a variety of upcoming events and announcements for your review. We encourage you to use the School Website, Ben's Buzz and teacher/faculty pages as your primary resources for school year information.

Our first Parent Pillar Night will be held on September 5th titled "Teaching our Children to Be Good Digital Citizens." The event has been coordinated by Mrs. McCoy in conjunction with the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office. We believe that in this digital age, this topic is of value to all BFCCPS parents, no matter how old your child(ren) are. Because these evenings are so important to assist you as your role as the Primary Educator, we will offer babysitting services for children ages five and up in the art room. This service is available for $10 per family and all proceeds benefit the Grade 7 Quebec Trip. Please RSVP using this form so that we can gauge attendance for the evening.

All parents are invited to attend the upcoming Curriculum Nights! This is the best way to meet your student’s teachers and learn more about what to expect during the 2018-2019 school year. Grade Five through Eight should plan to join us on September 26th from 6:30 to 9pm. Kindergarten through Grade Four should plan to join us on September 27th from 6:30 to 9pm. We hope you can join us!

Thank you for your attention to these important updates.
