ANNOUNCEMENTS
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 2018
  • If you have not completed and returned your back-to-school paperwork, please do so! This paperwork is required. Students can bring it to the front office or to their advisory teacher.
  • Girls on the Run will be starting this week. It's not too late to join! See below for more info!
  • Quiz bowl tryouts will be held Sept. 10-13. Students who are interested should pick up a form in D-Hall by Mrs. Eason's room (D-13) or Mrs. Wendt's room (D-14) by Friday. The form will give info about Quiz Bowl and tryouts. You must come to a knowledge tryout and a buzzer tryout to be considered for the team.
  • Odyssey of the Mind registration is open! Students interested in Odyssey of the Mind should pick up information and a registration packet in D-Hall by Mrs. Eason's room (D-13) or Mrs. Wendt's room (D-14) by Friday. Forms should be completed and returned to Mrs. Eason or Mrs. Wendt by Tues., Sept. 4.
  • Picture Day will be Wed., Sept. 12. Students will have their picture taken during their social studies class. Order forms will be going out in advisory and are also available in the front office. Every student will have their picture taken.
Girls on the Run Starts This Week

Girls on the Run will be starting this week! It is an after-school activity open for 7th and 8th grade girls.

Girls will have fun, eat snacks, get a t-shirt, and work on walking or running to prepare for a 5K at the end of the season. 

See Ms. McClure in room B-5 for more information and an application. The first meeting will be Thurs., Sept. 6 in the cafeteria.
Woodland Warehouse is Open

Woodland Warehouse is open for business! Our student-run school store offers school supplies, drawstring backpacks, and many other fun items. 

We are proud to offer students a hands-on learning experience about how to operate a business, work with budgets, and learn more about customer service in a real-world work environment.


Woodland Students Calling the Hogs

Teachers and students had fun calling the hogs as part of the ONE Hog Call last Friday. They joined hog fans calling the hogs from 30 other states and seven other countries. Thanks to Mr. Carroll for getting his students to lead the effort!
