Legislative Update CLE Programs 
Several practice sections have scheduled CLE programs to discuss recent legislation introduced during the 2017 legislative session. Rep. Deborah Armstrong will present the Health Law Legislative Update on April 19, the Animal Law Section Legislative Roundup will be on May 5, and Fletcher R. Carolyn A. Wolf Named Public Lawyer of the Year
Since 1996, the Public Law Section has presented the annual Public Lawyer Award to lawyers who have had distinguished careers in public service and who are not likely to be recognized for their contributions. Carolyn A. Wolf will be honored at 4 p.m., April 28, at the Capitol Rotunda in Santa Fe.
Alternative Methods of Dispute Resolution Committee Meeting

Gov. Martinez to Speak at Solo and Small Firm Section Presentation
The Solo and Small Firm Section will host Gov. Martinez from noon-1 p.m., May 9, at the State Bar Center. The Governor will speak to State Bar members on any lingering issues from the coming legislative special session and her vision for our state in the remainder of her second term and the future.
