This Navigator E-Newsletter will highlight some important and fun events happening on campus to help you stay connected as you transition to life at Tulane.

Fall Welcome is underway and we want to make sure you take advantage of the 100+ events going on now through September 9. Remember the Tulane Orientation App? Add the Fall Welcome Guide so you can view all of the details of Fall Welcome events. Getting involved is one of the best ways to ease your transition to college, facilitate friendships, and create community.

ACTION ITEM: New Student Orientation Survey
Participate in our survey regarding New Student Orientation (NSO). Your feedback will help us make changes to NSO in future years. At the conclusion of the survey, you will have an opportunity to enter your Tulane email address into a drawing.Two students will receive a $50.00 gift card to the Barnes and Noble University bookstore. Take the survey by Wednesday, September 12 at 5:00pm.

Happy Fall Welcome!
The Tulane Orientation app is your one-stop shop for staying connected during Fall Welcome. Use the app to check out the Fall Welcome schedule! If you haven't already downloaded the Tulane Orientation app  in the Apple app  store or  Google Play store, follow these steps to get connected!
  • Search TU Welcome or Tulane Orientation  
  • Download the app  
  • Tap "next" 
  • Select role as "student" 
  • Tap "sign up with email" 
  • Create an account using your tulane.edu email address 
  • Once you've created an account, you'll receive an email with a verification code.
  • Type the verification code back into the app and complete the rest of the login process
Apply for Emerging Leaders
Emerging Leaders is a cohort based, leadership experience for first-year undergraduate students and transfer students at Tulane University. Emerging Leaders aims to engage first-year students in the leadership process and identify pathways to leadership within the Tulane community. Apply here by 12:00noon on September 21!
Apply for CACTUS Academy
CACTUS Academy: A Social Justice Leadership Development Program is designed for first-year Tulane undergraduate students and first-year transfer students who have an interest in building skills and knowledge that will prepare them to become actively involved in social justice work and community engagement during and after their time at Tulane.  Apply here by September 17!

Join the Campus Services Advisory Board to help improve services provided by Tulane University (and get free Wavebucks!), follow  Dining Services and Campus Services on social media, sign up to be featured as a student highlight in the dining newsletters, and check out the new healthy eating program in the LBC, Healthy TU! L ook for the Healthy TU logo on the menus at Pickles, Wall of Greens, Zatarains and Al Fuego for an easy way to choose a dietician-approved meal!
