Congratulations to our managing member Charles Bailey on his recognition at the 2018 WVU College of Law Dean's Gala.

Mr. Bailey was honored to be named a Dean's Partner at the event for his continued contributions to his beloved alma mater.

Dean's Partners recognizes those who have contributed a minimum of $5,000 total in one fiscal year or $10,000 total over a period of five fiscal years.The Dean's Partners are honored at an annual gala.

Bailey & Wyant Member, Jennifer Tully attended the 2018 West Virginia Bar Association Annual Meeting where she met with lawyers from around the state to discuss important topics.

Including the U.S. Supreme Court's recent decision striking down the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act of 1992 and the State of West Virginia's new legislation authorizing sports gambling in the Mountain State.

As well as block-chain technology and why lawyers should pay attention. And the West Virginia Forward initiative, which is a blueprint with a host of recommendations and ideas to advance the state's economic future.

Summer Night at the Ball Park 
Bailey & Wyant, PLLC had a great night at the ball park on Saturday to watch the WV Power play the Charleston River Dogs!

The rain held off for night of family fun, hot dogs and a couple foul balls in our direction.

The Great Archie Griffin 

Our Managing Member, Charles Bailey had the honor of meeting the great Archie Griffin.

Griffin, a former running back is college football's only two-time Heisman Trophy winner. Griffin played seven seasons in the NFL with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Amy J. Haynie

Amy J. Haynie is a Member in Bailey & Wyant, PLLC's Charleston office. She is a native of Kenova, Wayne County, West Virginia. She graduated from Marshall University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Economics. She then graduated from the West Virginia University  College of Law in 1997.

Amy was admitted to the West Virginia State Bar in October of 1997. She has also been admitted to practice law before the United States District Court for the Southern and Northern Districts of West Virginia.
Prior to coming to Bailey & Wyant, she was the City Attorney for the City of South Charleston and then the Assistant General Counsel for the Department of Administration for the State of WV.  She also held various positions at West Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission/BrickStreet Insurance.

As a member with Bailey & Wyant, PLLC her practice has primarily been focused on real estate and estate planning.
