Got Questions? Get Answers.

A Note From Pastor Linda

The key to wisdom is this- constant and frequent questioning, for by doubting we are led to question, by questioning we arrive at the truth.
~Peter Abelard (French Philosopher 1079-1142)

A.S.K. Ask Search Knock
Jesus said: Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives, and everyone who searches finds, and for everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
(Matthew 7)

Dear Friends~

Everyone has questions. Young children ask "why?" Teenagers ask "why not?" Adults question "what if?" Do you have questions about God, Jesus, the Bible? Do you have questions about life? Do you have questions for God about life? Every day, more and more people are going to Siri or Alexa or Google to find answers to their questions about and for God. I have a better idea: Come to Hosanna to "get answers."

During worship we will wrestle together with some of the most frequently asked questions about God, faith, life, and the world around us. It all starts THIS SUNDAY- as we return to our worship times of 9am and 10:30am in the Great Hall!

"got questions?" We can't do this without you- because you supply the questions. Go to our website to ask your question confidentially- CLICK HERE. Or use one of our "got questions" postcards and drop them in the "got questions" box.

"got questions" is sure to be a captivating sermon series- one that might leave you asking more questions. Consider inviting a friend to ask questions and then join us as we discover what God's Word has to say!

 Just ASK!

 ~Pastor Linda

  • Blessing of the BackPacks and Brief Cases
  • Frolic First Bible Blessing- for preschoolers ages 3-5

September Read:
Educated:  A Memoir by Tara Westover
An unforgettable memoir about a young girl who, kept out of school, leaves her survivalist family and goes on to earn a PhD from Cambridge University.
The story begins:  Tara Westover was 17 the first time she set foot in a classroom. Born to survivalists in the mountains of Idaho, she prepared for the end of the world by stockpiling home-canned peaches and sleeping with her "head-for-the-hills bag". In the summer she stewed herbs for her mother, a midwife and healer, and in the winter she salvaged in her father's junkyard.
Discussion Date:  Tuesday, September 25 at 7pm at Kelly Monson's home.
