JRB FINANCIAL PULSE
October 2019 -- Issue #25
A Word from the CEO

Welcome back from the holidays! I hope the Hagim were meaningful and inspiring.

In recognition of National Retirement Security Week (October 20-26, 2019), I'd like to address our plan participants at the early stages of their career. Most of our younger members acknowledge the importance of saving for retirement but many express difficulty finding the funds to get started. The article, "6 Financial Planning Tips for Millennials," offers practical ideas that allow you to break through the barriers to retirement saving.

This issue of the Financial Pulse also includes information about the cost of living adjustments planned for those paying into and collecting Social Security as well as an article from the JRB's investment consultant, Cammack Retirement Group, on the prospects of a recession. Remember that the best defense against a recession is a well-diversified portfolio.

Finally, keep your eye open for the Fall Israel Bonds Offering in early November.

I hope these articles provide useful food for thought. Please don't hesitate to contact the JRB if you have questions about them or other issues related to financial planning and retirement. You can reach us by email or call us at 888-JRB-FREE (572-3733).
