St. Francis Fair...a stunning success! The day was full of surprises, happy children, great food, beautiful weather...and a financial intake of $36,000 before settling up with the church and paying expenses. There will be amazing benefits to the Hancock County SCPA as well as St. Francis.

A special thank you to Hancock County SPCA volunteers...a fabulous Fair Partner. Set-up, take-down and everything in between reflected your large numbers of smiling volunteers.

Fair Chair, Mary Hartley, and her co-chair, Kevin Hunt, were on top of every detail...just wonderful, both of you!

There were financial donations to Treasures, Grannys Attic, and many individual booths; fair-goers appreciated the bargains galore; Grannys Attic received $700 for new kids bikes.

Throughout the day there was Scott's lively music, always the background of the fair--- interrupted only by Page, announcing sale after sale of bargains growing bigger by the minute. The Higgins family was the perfect break for the best ever grilling since Brinley Hall shifted to the right (cold drinks, of course.) Food to go was in high demand, especially Mark Cluett's "Katharine Hepburn Brownies" and there were lovely homemade pies.

We were blessed by front- page coverage in the Blue Hill Packet with this year's reporter, Anne Berleant. She really captured the community we serve.

Thank you, everyone, for gifting so much time, your tired feet, and knowing it is worth it to be really exhausted for a day or two...
...and somehow showing up in large numbers Sunday morning to celebrate our love for this big outreach of St. Francis.

Enjoy the photos with many thanks to Joe Lendvai whose work is always amazing!

Thank you, Emma Brown, for a great donation! Look at this happy fairgoer!
