Convocation kicked off our yearlong 60th anniversary celebration as we reflected on our "Proud Past" and looked forward to our "BOLD Future." Although we have schools that were established well before the 50's, it was on May 20, 1958 that the consolidation of schools formed the Eagle Mountain-Saginaw Independent School District. Open Enrollment Deadline!
This Friday, August 24, is the last day of open enrollment for benefits. Enrollment is mandatory for all new hires, those employees who would like to make changes, and/or those who currently have an HSA or FSA account that you would like to continue for the 2018-19 plan year.

Colleen Lockwood, Boswell HS CTE Teacher
Named Educator of the Year by Junior Achievement of the Chisholm Trail (Fort Worth)
Boswell High School CTE teacher Colleen Lockwood was awarded Educator of the Year from Junior Achievement of the Chisholm Trail, Inc. (Fort Worth).
"The Educator of the Year award is awarded to educators that go above and beyond in their educator role at Junior Achievement (JA)," said Alexia Willis, Senior Education Manager for JA of the Chisholm Trail. "These educators hold their students to high standards and are examples of hard work and integrity. They often work extra hours to support their students, communicate exceptionally well with JA, support the mission by providing a welcoming classroom environment to volunteers, providing honest feedback, and are all-around cheerleaders for JA. This award is awarded to just one educator out of the over 900 educators we work with each year. That being said, the educator of the year truly has a heart for JA!"
