Pumpkin Varieties

Pumpkins have arrived at Banting's. Below are the many varieties we offer. Browse the selection to find your perfect fit! Pumpkin varieties vary by location. Call ahead to make sure your Banting's location has your favorite variety in stock.

Cinderella An attractive variety, actually a squash, for fall display, shaped flat looking like a red cheese wheel, the fruits average in the 10-15 lb. range, the moderately sweet, orange flesh is suited for pumpkin or squash pie

Porcelain Doll A pink fruit that is large, flat, very deeply furrowed and semi-hard shelled, thick orange flesh is fine grained and excellent eating, bred specifically to raise funds for cancer research

Jacks Large Stem Large Hybrid Pumpkins cut with long stems, classic pumpkin for all decor

Choga Choga Avg. 6-12 lb. bumpy squashes makes for excellent ornamental, also good for many recipes

Enchanted A flat pumpkin with creamy white rind and thick orange flesh, large size, very tasted and great for fall decorations of all kinds

Mystic Pie A medium 5 to 7 pound pie pumpkin variety and cut with long stems

Crystal Star A variety that will maintain its true white color and it will be a pumpkin shape

Specter Specter is a white pumpkin with a lightly warted shell that holds its color well. It is a uniform, medium round fruit with large, firmly attached handles. Specter is expected to measure 9-12” high x 9-12” in diameter, and can weigh up to 20 lb.

Mini Orange/White Miniature pumpkins weigh 1lb. A 'kid-size' pumpkin also used for indoor decor.
