State Bar Lawyer Referral Services Changes
The State Bar is implementing two changes to Lawyer Referral Services in 2017. First, all current LRS panel attorneys must renew their membership in the referral programs no later than Feb. 28. Second, LRS referral panel attorneys must have malpractice insurance in the  minimum amount recommended by NMRA 16-104 and certify that they have sufficient expertise in practice areas they accept referrals. Meet and Greet with the Paralegal Division

Nominations Open for Public Lawyer of the Year Award
The Public Law Section seeks nominations for its annual award which honors lawyers who have had distinguished careers in public service and who are not likely to be recognized for their contributions. Nominations should be made by March 17. Learn more about the award.
