Why I Chose Dementia Care

I've always felt a strong instinct to care for people. I really appreciate the members here and I  believe  that after a long and full life, they are very deserving of care.

My Favorite Things About Working at OPICA

I love the dancing and singing. It gives us a chance to get real one on one time with the members.  Even though they tend to forget things, I still learn so much from them and their past lives.
"I May Be Forgetful"

This 2-minute video animates a dementia poem written to elevate awareness about living with dementia. It shows how to support, nurture, and stay connected to loved ones with memory difficulties.
