Joe Eckstein is a children's book author, illustrator, and cartoonist who loves to encourage and inspire people through art and stories.
Originally from Ohio and drawing and writing stories since he can remember, he has a Bachelor's degree in fine art from Bowling Green State University and has worked as an illustrator for leading children's education publisher Carson-Dellosa. His work has been published in books, greeting cards, magazines, and newspapers.

Formatting your book using Windows
Rich is a long standing member of MIW, has published 13 thriller novels, and is the Chairman of the Marco Writers Farmers Market. The discussion will start with a normal Word formatted document and how to meet all of the formatting requirements for submission to Amazon for self publishing. Rich will do the presentation using his laptop and some handouts.

About The Book
:
Unemployed teacher Mary Malone faces a serious dilemma when her private investigator brother Matt, who has been overseas for seven months, announces he is returning to Minnesota in three weeks. How is this amateur sleuth going to explain to him about his missing dog? And what about the murder cases she has taken on in his absence, especially the one in progress? Without the help of her widowed aunt and neighbor Mrs. Grimshaw this time, can Mary succeed in finding the dog and solving the death of Don Hickleman, owner of Hickleman Pickle Plant, before Matt discovers what she's been hiding from him?
About the Author: Marlene Chabot, a semi-finalist in the 2016 Neoverse Writer's Competition, began writing for magazines such as Her Voice, and other entities in her native state of Minnesota in 2007. A member of Sisters in Crime, Marco Island Writers, and Word Weavers, Marlene has a BS in education, an AAS in business marketing, and a certificate from the Institute of Children's Literature. Her other published writings include: six novels-Detecting the Fatal Connection, North Dakota Neighbor, Mayhem With a Capital M, Death At The Bar X Ranch, Death of the Naked Lady, Death of the Pickle King, and six short stories for anthologies.
