A Night at the Races Success

Thank you to our many sponsors, donors, attendees and bidders at this year's auction. Your generosity enabled us to raise $227,254 for the operating fund to help close the gap between the cost to educate a student and the charge of tuition. You also helped us raise an additional $42,837 to develop the new Creator Space through the "Fund-a-Cause." Our total earnings yielded more than $270,000.

All who attended were impressed by the labor, imagination, and zeal of our many hard-working volunteers. We would especially like to thank the auction chairs Maria Reda '88 Gulli, Deb Hodgett, Lori McLoud, Alicia Napoli and Jennifer Smith for their work with Debbie Quirk, Director of Special Events and Parent Relations, and the chairs and members of the multiple committees as well as the members of the Office of Institutional Advancement; they all worked heartily to plan this wonderful event.

Erin Virtue '01 Joins U.S. Women's National Team Staff

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (March 3, 2017) - Erin Virtue, currently the women's volleyball associate head coach at Northwestern University, has accepted a position with the U.S. Women's National Volleyball Team as a consultant assistant coach working with Karch Kiraly, the program's head coach, for the 2020 Olympic quadrennial.

"Erin has done strong work coaching and supporting USA programs over the long haul, but she's much more than that," Kiraly said. "She's dedicated to helping the people around her be the best version of themselves, and doing so with integrity and skill. Since that's a prime aspiration here, that makes Erin a great fit, and makes us excited to see where our work together can lead."

"I am truly honored and humbled to be called up to work with Karch and staff throughout this quad," Virtue said. "I am excited to learn under Karch, as well as provide my best efforts for our USA athletes and the entire USA program in preparation for the 2020 Olympic Games." (continue)

Host an International Student

The St. Francis High School community proudly welcomes students from all over the world and we are always looking for caring host families to provide homes for them.

The International Student Program consists of a network of people who communicate regularly to ensure the experience continues to enrich the lives of everyone in the home. Participating families might be offered compensation of up to $1,000 per month for 10 months to help cover the costs of room and board.

Student Busing

St. Francis High School will offer a transportation option to students beginning in the 2017-2018 school year.
