The Pumpkins are
COMING!!!!!!!!!!

Our annual pumpkin sale will commence at 12:30 pm (scheduled to arrive) with the delivery of 1500 pumpkins on Sunday, October 6th. The sales tent will be manned from 4:00-6:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm that day.

Signs will be posted on the front lawn for all the world to see prior to the 6th. Volunteers who are able to donate time and energy should bring the following:

- Non-slip gloves.
- A wheelbarrow if available. Would like to see 5 or 6
brought for use.
- A piece of ½" thick plywood to serve as a ramp for the   wheelbarrows.

Please note water and light snacks will be provided. If I remember, this task took about 3 hours to unload and place the 1500 pumpkins.

The "date/shift" sign-up board is set up in the Sanctuary. While our congregation is small, I hope people reading this will step forward and participate in both the unloading of the pumpkins and then signing up to man the tent for a selling shift (or two or three) over the next several days of the sale. Two people will be required for each shift.

A four-wall tent was purchased this year, in the hope it will cut down on the wind and rain that made last year's sales so hard on the volunteers.

We are hoping for a good turnout of volunteers. Remember, this has been a successful mission project for our church, the Indians in the southwest, and the people of Ashland.

Success comes with pitching in,
