Happy Sunday Hawks!

We have conferences this week, so Tues-Fri are 12:15 dismissal. I'm looking forward to seeing all of our families on campus.  It has been a wonderful quarter and we have seen some incredible results from CREATE Time.  Our hallways are full of cool student work and I'm glad you'll get to see it when you are here this week.

Calling All Actors:
Join Odyssey of the Mind!

Odyssey of the Mind is an educational program that provides creative problem solving opportunities for all students. Students will learn about a classic story and will have the challenge to rewrite the story into a play, adapt new characters, and think outside the box. Students will also be responsible for creating materials such as the background and scenery, props, and costumes.

We are hoping to bring Odyssey of the Mind back to Copper Creek on Thursdays from 2:15-3:45. If your child is interested, please have them show up to Room 21 on Thursday, October 24th at 2:15. Students will need to have a ride ready at 3:45 in the front office or have plans to go to PAL.

There is a $40 club fee that will help cover the cost for t-shirts, snacks, and a learning conference. Depending on interest, there may be tryouts. If you are interested in being a parent coach, please email Ms. LoVerde at [email protected].

The cost is $50 for 7 classes and an end of session performance
Copper Creek Costume Exchange

Do you have old Halloween costumes sitting around your house? Would you like to trade them for something your kids might want to wear this year?

We are looking for gently used and clean costumes.  We will have a rolling rack in front of the office to collect costumes before and after school during the month of October.

If you have a costume you'd like to donate, just hang it up.  If you find a costume you'd like, just grab it and go.
You don't have to leave one to take one.  Just help yourself.

*Any costumes left after Halloween will be donated.
