September 2019

The end of summer was a busy one, with trips around the west coast all the way down to Southern California. We represented Southpaw Pizza at the THING festival in gorgeous Port Townsend, traveled to Los Angeles to take part in the fantastic LA Love's Alex's Lemonade Stand (over $1.2 million raised for childhood cancer research!), prepared an al fresco dinner in the Snohomish Valley on the cusp of an epic lightning storm... every last drop was squeezed out of the summer of 2019.

Join us for a Fall Foraged dinner co-hosted by The Field Society & Langdon Cook on October 20.

Now, f all is here. I wouldn't have minded easing into the next season a bit more gently, true, but it's easy to find a silver lining to the change in weather: fall foraging. Read below for details on the upcoming Fall Foraged Dinner we're hosting at Lark with our friends Langdon Cook and The Field Trip Society.

Believe it or not, our books are filling up with reservations for holiday parties. If you're tasked with organizing a holiday gathering for colleagues, friends or family and are looking for a private space to rent give Lark or Southpaw Pizza a call soon. We have a variety of spaces to match different group sizes and budgets. Another great party option is a  platter from Slab Sandwich: your choice of sandwiches and extras like truffled sunchoke chips and  JM's salted chocolate chip cookies, packaged and ready for pick up.

Speaking of revelry and good times... Southpaw Pizza is now featuring live music on the second Saturday of every month! Next up: The Lucile Street Band on Saturday, October 12 7pm - 9pm. Come for the wood fired pizza and stay for an evening of bluesy, rock and R&B classics.

Enjoy the start of this cozy season. Don't let the weather keep you at home - we'd love to see you at Lark, Southpaw Pizza and Slab Sandwich sometime soon. Meanwhile, read up on the fantastic restaurant options available in the Seattle area. We were thrilled to have Lark included in Seattle Met's list of 100 Best Restaurants Right Now. Slab's fried chicken sandwich with ghost pepper ranch dressing got a nod from The Stranger and now it's nearly internet famous. And Southpaw Pizza made Eater Seattle's list of Essential Pizza Restaurants. We appreciate the love!
