First Day Packets
New this year! Students will be coming home with a pre-populated enrollment form for the 2019-2020 school year. Each family is asked to do the following on their form before returning it to school.
  1. Draw a line through any incorrect information on the form
  2. Please neatly print any information that needs to be corrected or added.
All forms in First Day packets should be completed. Students will return all forms to their 2nd period teacher.

PLEASE look for the BLUE Socio Economic Information Form.  It is very important that we receive the blue form back from every family.  We are a Title 1 school and can receive funding for our school budget through the return of these forms. Every form potentially could mean additional dollars for Bellaire students.
Laptops
Students that did not take advantage of early check-in should bring their laptop agreement form and $25 cash payment, or paypal receipt, Tuesday, August 27th. Students will visit the PowerUp room during their Social Studies period to check-out their computer.

A laptop agreement form can be downloaded here.

red_apple_books_stack.jpg Textbooks

Textbooks were due May 31. Please return any textbooks that are still in your possession, other students need them. Students returning textbooks during morning hours will be able to check out books that same afternoon.

Course Change Requests
NEW -   Course Changes forms are now ONLINE!

The BHS Counseling Department is excited to announce that we no longer will be using paper copies of the course and level change forms. When your student receives his/her schedule, a course change form can be submitted online to his/her counselor if any of the following reasons applies:

  • There is an error on the schedule. (For example, a class you didn't choose at course selection is on your schedule.)
  • I am a NEW student to BHS and I chose an incorrect level of class. (Returning students can request this starting 9/17/19, see below.)
  • A required core class is missing.
  • A course needed for graduation is missing.
  • A class period is missing or repeated.

Here are reasons NOT to submit a course change to your Counselor:

  • I want a different teacher or class period.
  • I want to be in my friend's class.
  • The classrooms are too far apart and I don't think I will get there in time.
Once school begins, please note that, per our policy,  the level change window for students wanting to drop their level from either Pre-AP, AP, or College Prep opens on September 17.

Home Lunch Permits
Eleventh and twelfth grade students may leave Bellaire High School campus during Cardinal Hour only if parent or guardian grants written permission and students meet all requirements. Failure of students to abide by the policy and maintain good standing as a student will result in the privilege being revoked. Students must return this request form into their alpha Assistant Principal for approval. A new ID will be issued once approval is granted.  All students must remain on campus for lunch the first week of school.  Off campus ID's will be processed and printed before a student can leave campus.  Download a form here
