The O'Reilly Minute
Dear Parents,

The corrected version of the Family Directory is now available on SchoolSpeak here (you will need to login to access it). Please use this version instead of the one sent last week.

Our regular 9:00 am Mass on Thursday has been moved to 9:00 am on Friday, October 4th. All Diocesan priests will be gathering with Bishop Brennan for a week-long convocation. Please keep of all our priests and our bishop in your prayers as they share information and discern the future of our diocese.

On Thursday, October 3rd we will be having our first CARE meeting of the new year. Students and staff are invited to enjoy a dress down day featuring school colors and spirit wear!!! (School colors/spiritwear are not required….it is suggested). Go Wolfhounds!

Tonight and tomorrow evening we will be having our first student-led conferences of the new school year. It is still not too late to sign up. Please see the Sign Up Genius in the story below. This is a wonderful way to spend time with your child(ren) and talk about the importance of goal setting for the new year and to discuss and review the beginning of the year assessments and projects.

Blessings,
Kathy O'Reilly

Join the St. Brigid Women's Club
The St. Brigid of Kildare Women's Club is an inclusive women’s group that strives to share the light of God and to be the light in our community. We’re here to humbly serve the church and its mission, and to live a Christian life in our words – and in our works. All women are welcome!

The group meets on the third Wednesday of every month and is open to all women of the church. The next meeting is October 16th in Hendricks Hall with speaker Kassandra Baker. She is motivational speaker who will speak about authenticity and grace and healthy body images.

Annual Respect Life Baby Shower and Knights of Columbus Diaper Collection - Service Hours Opportunity
Our Annual Baby Shower, sponsored by the Respect Life Committee and the Knights of Columbus, helps support Pregnancy Decision Health Center and Women’s Care Center. These organizations provide a compassionate and loving alternative to women facing a crisis pregnancy. We will be collecting diapers, new and gently used clothing for babies as well as maternity clothes after all Masses on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 12-13 in Hendricks Hall.

Volunteers, including those needing service hours, are needed to sort and pack on Sunday, October 13. Student volunteers need to be accompanied by a parent. I will have the service forms available. If you can help for 1 or 2 hours, please call Mary Jo Booker at 614-309-3807 or email at [email protected]
