For the past few weeks the Transition Team has been conducting listening sessions at various people's homes to get a sense of the congregation's feelings. While many people have been able to participate, even more have not. If you are one of those in that second category, would you please take 5 minutes to respond to the Transition Team's questions? Sign Up to Volunteer at the Foodshelf
Help us staff the Valley Outreach Foodshelf on Wednesday, Sept. 5 and Friday, Sept. 7. (We will not be assisting on Monday, Sept. 3, as the Foodshelf is closed for the Labor Day holiday.) Inspirational Yoga
Join us Saturday mornings from 9:00 - 10:00 am in the gathering area for Inspirational Yoga. All ages, all levels; beginners welcome! The cost is $72.00 for each 8 week session. Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing. Questions: contact Summer Seidenkranz, 651.331.9940.

Worship Assistants Matter!
When we have volunteers serving in worship:
- Incoming worshippers get warmly greeted at the door.
- Visitors get "mugged" with an OSLC coffee mug and get their questions answered about Our Savior's.
- Worshippers, especially those attending for the first time, experience a service that flows smoothly with the guidance of ushers handing out bulletins, passing out the offering plates/baskets, directing worshippers to communion stations.
- The day's Lesson and Psalm is shared with us at the early service, with the Pastor sharing the Gospel at both services.

Worshippers share in the bread and wine that are efficiently distributed to us on Communion Sundays.

Registration for Fall Faith Formation & Confirmation (Sundays/Wednesdays) is open NOW! We have something available for children & youth age 3 through 12th grade. Please register by August 31, 2018. Register Now!

Faith Formation Teachers & Assistants Needed!
Our kids need you! Please let Darla Goble (651-308-8641) know how you can help! We need teachers and assistants for Sunday and Wednesday Faith Formation classes for preschool-6th grade. All lesson plans and supplies are prepped for you! Time commitment is about two Sundays or Wednesdays a month. Sundays are 9:00-10:15 am and Wednesdays are 6:10-6:40 pm.

We had 225 children and youth participate in VBS last week! Thank you to all of our VBS volunteers for their work! Over 70 volunteers of all ages helped make VBS a huge success! Thanks especially to the Olson family for their dedication to VBS!
