FROM HUMAN RESOURCES:
T aking care of ourselves is essential. Self-care is often neglected in our everyday lives. We all tend to put others needs before our own and it is crucial to remember, that we cannot fill another's cup from our own empty vessel.

Self-care knows no boundaries. It is something that everyone can benefit from practicing on a daily basis. True self-care is not self-centered nor selfish; it is simply keeping yourself the focus of your own life.

Here’s some information on self care from the National Alliance on Mental Illness:
Would you like to participate in a teacher stress study? We are partnering with Mizzou to provide an opportunity for teachers to engage in a study that is focused on helping teachers cope with stress. The purpose of the study is to see if stress management training for teachers reduces stress and improves coping. If you are interested in participating, please contact Shelby Scarbrough at [email protected] or 659-3013.
