ABHMS has launched "A Roof Over Their Heads: My people will live in ... secure dwellings," a campaign to raise $300,000 to repair and replace roofs destroyed when Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico in 2017.
During 2019's second quarter, ABHMS awarded
$257,220 in grants to 27 organizations, churches and regions--specifically to the projects of historic and new partners that align with ABHMS' mission areas.
Approximately 44 young people aged 21-39 participated in ABHMS' first "
Intercultural Institute for Emerging Leaders" at the organization's Leadership and Mission Building in King of Prussia last month.
During August's "You Make Me Rest" retreat in Puerto Rico, ABHMS and Iglesias Bautistas de Puerto Rico promoted healing among pastors ministering to others in the aftermath of 2017's Hurricane MarĂa.
