Polka on in New Braunfels, Elgin, 
Schulenburg, & Seaton!

It's polka time as two dance clubs host public dances - The Moravians will play at Eagles Hall in New Braunfels for the Goodtime Polka & Waltz Club on Saturday evening, and the Dujka Brothers are in the KC house in Schulenburg for the Swiss Alp Dance Club on Sunday afternoon. Two more great polka dances on Sunday in Elgin with Mark Halata & Texavia and in Seaton with Edward Kopecky Fun Time Czech Band.

Church Picnic Alert: The Catholic church in Penelope (near Waco) is not having a picnic per se, but they are having a polka Mass, meal, and dance with Czech & Then Some...St. Monica's in Cameron welcomes the Majek Orchestra for their picnic - it's a tradition as that's where the Majek Family settled upon arriving to the USA, then later moved to Corpus Christi.

Also this weekend - Friday: Glen Collins & The Alibis in Seguin...Enzian Buam in Pearland. Saturday: Take your pick of 2 dance halls in Ft Worth - one with Bobby Flores, the other with Billy Mata...Charles & Fab 4 play at the Ram Rodeo in La Grange - this looks like an interesting event!...Jeff Woolsey & Dance Hall Kings are in Tomball...Lost Cause in Wallis...Or go to dinner in Webster and enjoy the music of Kenny James. Sunday: Texas Roadrunners at Houston VFW...Charles & Fab 4 in Sweet Home.
