Jumping into the 2018-19 school year with students from Valdez Elementary.
Welcome Back, Team DPS!
It's the start of the 2018-19 school year, and we hope you're as excited as we are for all that's ahead. Tune in here to be in-the-know throughout the year! This newsletter, Team DPS Weekly, is sent to all team members each Thursday to share what you need to know as a member of Team DPS, from updates on your benefits to paychecks, from recognition to well-being resources, from discounts to giveaways, and much more!

To help make the most of Team DPS Weekly, here are resources to keep you informed:
  • Look for the newsletter in your inbox at 6 a.m. every Thursday morning.
  • Tired of right-clicking to download images? Change your settings to have them automatically download by following these easy steps.
  • Missed an edition? Check out our Newsletter Archives page on The Commons for every edition of our newsletters.
  • If you have information you'd like to share, submit a write-up to the newsletters on The Commons here
  • Not into Team DPS Weekly? Just delete it! Please don't unsubscribe. Unsubscribing from this newsletter will remove you from multiple communications from DPS -- and you don't want to miss out!
We want our newsletters to be as informative and beneficial to you as possible, so please let us know how we can continue to improve them. Share your feedback at [email protected].

Top 5 Callout: Summer Vacation Photos
Send us your favorite photos from your summer vacations or staycations. We'd love to see where you traveled, how you beat the heat and how you re-energized! Send your photos to [email protected]. We'll select the Top 5 and one person will win a giveaway!
Thanks for an Amazing Our DPS Day: Our Foundation, Our Future!
We hope you were able to tune in this morning and join the rest of Team DPS in kicking off the school year with the annual Our DPS Day. In case you missed it, we'll share a link to the complete live-stream event soon.

To support our focus on well-being, see below for some resources DPS has available for you:
  • Visit the Well-being Resource Center for quick access to articles, videos, tips and discounts to help you feel supported, engaged, healthy, challenged and socially and emotionally intelligent.
  • We aim to have a Wellness Champion in every school and department to bring customized support to your team. If your team does not yet have a Wellness Champion and you are interested in serving in that role, please complete this form.
  • Join a DPS Belong group and connect with other team members who share your similar background and experiences.
Finally, help us continue to improve Our DPS Day and future events by sharing your feedback in this survey.

Bonus: Don't miss our next big values-based program Creating Connections on Oct. 24! All members of Team DPS who have not yet attended this foundational program are invited -- sign up here!
