The project on E Ave NW is underway and things are progressing as scheduled.
Improvements include:
- Concrete pavement reconstruction of E Avenue NW from the future Highway 100 entrance to Stoney Point Road, and Stoney Point Road from E Avenue to the Cherry Hill Park entrance.
- The road will be upgraded to include curb, gutter and storm sewer.
- Sidewalk will also be extended on the south side of E Avenue between Rockvalley and Stoney Point, and portions of sidewalk will be installed on Stoney Point in coordination with a future trail project.
- A roundabout will be installed at the intersection of E Avenue with Stoney Point.
The contractor is currently working on removing the existing gravel road and installing new storm sewer pipes.
Coming up next, the intersection of Limerock Dr. and E Ave will be under construction; road closures will be in effect during this time.
Please continue to set your garbage and recycling bins out on their normal collection day; the contractor is responsible for moving them to a location for pickup and returning them to you.
