Today in Ghana, West Africa in the city of Obuasi, President Samuel C. Tolbert Jr., along with Rev. Dennis Jones, Foreign Mission Secretary/Treasurer appointed Rev. Cornelius Tilton as Deputy Secretary of Ghana, with intentions of making him Deputy Secretary for the country of Liberia.  Rev. Tilton is the pastor of Irish Channel Christian Fellowship in New Orleans, LA and the president of Christian Bible College of Louisiana.

There were 30 members of the Ghana Baptist Convention present for the appointment, along with the NBCA delegation.  The Ghana Baptist Convention, where  Rev. Ernest Adu-Gyamfi , DMin,  is president, is a partner with NBCA.
