October-Inspired Trend: Bold Black Bathrooms
Your bathroom  is a functional spot, but that doesn’t mean it can’t make a statement with design:
The spa-inspired bathroom trend has officially returned. These days it's all about bold, dark, sultry bathroom designs that evoke an indulgent high-end experience.
- Designer Kesha Franklin
To achieve these looks, try a matte tile on the floor and then a glossy finish on the shower walls. You might also consider different depths of black such as dark gray for variety in the space.
You can also try the black trend with faucets and other accents. Black cabinets and drawer pulls can also be a part of the scheme.
