CalHFA to Accept Electronic Loan Submissions
CalHFA is excited to announce that starting January 19, 2016, we will accept loan submissions electronically via our Mortgage Access System (MAS). This will streamline the lender's loan submission process to CalHFA.
All lenders should begin using this new document upload feature immediately, as it will replace the current paper file loan submission process. CalHFA will allow lenders time for this conversion and will stop accepting paper loan file submissions on February 12, 2016.
Please note that you should continue to submit loans to be purchased (post-closing) via paper file until CalHFA converts that process to electronic submission later in 2016.
As a reminder, MAS now has a "Limited Access" level so more of your staff can use MAS for document uploading and loan level viewing. The Lender's MAS administrator can approve access levels for users.
You can start uploading loan files by using the new menu item "View or Upload Supporting Loan Documents" located within the MAS System.
