Three Alumnae Take on New Roles at SCA
Three alumnae are beginning the new school year by sharing their talents with St. Catharine Academy. They are taking on the roles of Board of Trustees member, dean of student services and mathematics teacher.
Kathleen Alston Named Director of Enrollment Management
Kathleen Alston has been appointed director of enrollment management. She comes to SCA from St. Brigid School in Manhattan where she most recently served as coordinator of student achievement. Kathleen began her career as an assistant teacher.
A graduate of Hunter College, she and her husband live in the Bronx with their daughter, Mia.
"As director of enrollment management, I hope to help grow the St. Catharine Community with young ladies who will become leaders who empower, encourage, and serve their communities through the Mercy Values that they've witnessed and learned at SCA," Kathleen says.
The JV and Varsity volleyball teams are toppling teams around the conference. The Varsity is undefeated in conference play and the JV has a record of 2-1. Watch Instagram and Facebook for game updates.
