It is important for everyone to report homes that flooded during Tropical Storm Imelda, because this is part of the data that will determine whether or not the Houston area will be eligible for FEMA disaster funding. Put a STOP to Illegal Dumping
Crime Stoppers of Houston, Constable Alan Rosen, the City of Houston and others launched a new illegal dumping initiative that rewards tipsters so that law enforcement investigators can stop this blight in our neighborhoods. Crime Stoppers of Houston has printed yard signs members of the public can request for their neighborhood for free by calling (713) 521-4600.

Free Maritime Museum Event
Visitors are invited to the museum for free to learn about shipwrecks along the Texas Gulf Coast. Friends from the Texas Historical Commission, Texas City Museum, and Texas Navy Association will have hands-on activities all afternoon!
