Charles Schwab Plans New Location at Chandler Viridian
Charles Schwab is the latest tenant announced at Chandler Viridian. The iconic wealth management and financial services firm plans to move into a new, 7,400-square-foot building within the mixed-use development later this year. The Fortune 500 company has had a presence in the Price Corridor for more than a decade and is reaffirming its commitment to the area with this new lease.

"We appreciate Charles Schwab's recommitment and investment in Chandler and are thrilled to see the Viridian development come to fruition," said Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke. "This completely transformed area is a premier location that offers excellent accessibility and amenities. We wish Charles Schwab continued success in Chandler and look forward to celebrating their grand opening later this year."

Located at the northwest corner of Loops 101 and 202, Chandler Viridian offers direct freeway access, visibility, and proximity to Chandler Fashion Center mall and many corporate offices. The 25-acre project is designed to be a true live, work, play environment and features Class A office, restaurant, hospitality and residential uses.
Marriott Phoenix Chandler to Open This Month on the Price Corridor
Marriott Phoenix Chandler is a brand new, full-service hotel in the heart of the Price Corridor. Located at 1600 S. Price Rd., the 264-room hotel is surrounded by some of the largest companies in Chandler. This makes its conference space, with more than 26,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, especially appealing for corporate functions. Additional amenities include a swimming pool, fitness center, and indoor and outdoor lounge areas. Food and beverage facilities onsite include Cafe Meso, featuring modern American cuisine with Southwest and Mediterranean influences, and Proof '19, offering fresh-made cocktails and chef-prepared small bites.

Marriott Phoenix Chandler is scheduled to open at the end of October.
Seeking Science-Oriented Organizations to Participate in Chandler Science Spectacular
The City of Chandler would like to invite science-oriented companies and organizations to take part in our annual Chandler Science Spectacular event, sponsored by Intel, Northrop Grumman and First Things First. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020 in Downtown Chandler.

Now in its ninth year, the Science Spectacular event will continue the tradition of providing opportunities for kids to visit a block-long array of companies presenting their products and processes in a hands-on environment. The goal is to expose Chandler youth to the many educational facets of science and technology, while helping them explore the application of science in the Chandler business community.

There is no fee to participate as an exhibitor. The deadline to apply is Friday, Jan. 24, 2020. Organizations interested in the 2020 event can sign up online or contact Odette Moore at odette.moore@chandleraz.gov or 480-782-3038.
