Hawai`i State Legislators are considering Bills to fund identification of IAL.
At Last Wednesday's Council Committee meeting Chair Rapozo asked Planning Director Mike Dahilig to give an update of the Important Agricultural Lands to be protected for the future generations of Kaua`i.

Planning Department
The Planning Department is currently working to revise a Proposed Bill to allow Additional Rental Units island wide as a means to provide more rental housing for Kaua'i residents. The revised proposal is scheduled to be heard by council on April 5, 2017.
