The Patagonia Environmental Fund awarded the Earth Democracy committee a $12,000 grant for "The Pentagon: Exposing the Hidden Polluter of Water," our new, collaborative project in California.
On Oct. 10, the US Food Sovereignty Alliance will present their 2019 prize to Urban Tilth and Plan Pueblo a Pueblo; and all WILPF members are invited to the 2019 North American Forest and Climate Movement Convergence Oct. 11-14.
The Greater Philadelphia Branch has made two different donations of books, to a local library and high school, to honor Stelle Sheller's devotion to working for the common good.
The newly revitalized branch of Westchester WILPF organized an exhibition of 1980s and 90s peace posters and essays by young students and will sponsor a new youth peace project.
