U.S. News & World Report Ranks Poly
Each year, The U.S. News Best High Schools rankings evaluate data on more than 23,000 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia. More than 17,000 schools were ranked on six factors based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college. Maryland high school students are assessed in English language arts and math through the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers, or PARCC, exams.

Baltimore Polytechnic Institute is proud to be ranked #2 in Baltimore City, #14 in Baltimore Metro Area, and #27 in Maryland! With 98% graduation rate and 47% AP participation, the numbers tell a story that we have known: Poly is an educational force on both local and state levels, and a powerhouse of STEM education!
New Scoreboard Installed on Campus
Lumsden-Scott Stadium will have a new look when players take the field and fans fill the stands this fall. Thanks to the Baltimore City Public Schools, a new electronic scoreboard was installed this summer!

Make plans to come back to campus and support our Poly athletes. Schedules for all sports can be found on the athletics website if you click here. And, of course, save the date for the Poly/City football game on November 2, 2019 at 1pm at Morgan State University!
