Where Are They Now?
Since Splyce graduated from Venture Creations, they have been working towards franchising leagues and securing larger investors. The company now employs approximately 120 people, more than half of which are coaches and players working worldwide. In the winter of 2018, Splyce was acquired by Overactive Media , bringing a wealth of experienced employees and experts to the team. With this acquisition came Toronto Defiant, one of the first Canadian teams for the Overwatch League . With this addition, Splyce is now the only company to have slots in all three of the top esports franchises, alongside Call of Duty and League of Legends .

In the near future, as the concept of location-based esports becomes more of a reality, Splyce plans to move towards stadium play so that the community can get more access to the teams and their matches. As the company continues to grow, they hope to see esports become a bigger part of gaming culture and the digital space as a whole.
When Optic Sky first graduated from Venture Creations, they only had 3 employees working primarily on film production. Since then, they have grown to a team of 17 and have expanded their services to include both animation and augmented/virtual reality divisions, making a bigger project scope accomplishable and broadening the type of clientele that they work with.

Optic Sky hopes to continue to lend a hand to new companies who need a jump-start to send them in the right direction. While all three divisions are foreseen to grow sufficiently in the coming years, they are excited to collaborate with clients on AR/VR projects to solve problems in new ways. They are hoping that the work they do with this new technology can help set the bar for the industry as a whole, and establish them as leaders in the field.

Recently, Optic Sky has produced a successful advertisement campaign for Wegmans Meals 2GO in collaboration with RIT's own MAGIC Spell Studios. Check out the link below to see their work!

Since graduating from Venture Creations, Impact Earth has been quickly expanding not only in the size of their company but the size of their outreach. In 2018 alone, they launched an organic hauling and drop off service for Monroe County, gained twenty-one new employees, and prepared to open their second office in Chicago, Illinois. This new office has since been launched, and co-founder Cassidy Putney is optimistic about the new market for their services and the potential value of providing education and training in the area. As they grow, Impact Earth continues to work with schools and their employees, but are now providing products, tips and resource guides that are available to the public and fit every knowledge level. However, their expansion does not take the focus away from the communities they serve, as each area has its own specific needs and requires an understanding of the area, and Impact Earth wants to make sure those needs are continually met.

Impact Earth hopes to continue to change society and culture holistically. There is more to waste management than food and plastic, and Impact Earth partners with other zero waste companies to continue spreading this message. Keeping the earth clean is important regardless of political alignment because we all live here.
