Just look at that beautiful Chevelle! Maybe it's because it's one of the smoothest black paint jobs I've ever seen, but I can just picture Johnny Cash stepping out of that car onto the grass - all the chicks in that park flock to the sound of the growling V8 like something out of
"Swooner Crooner" but with the Man in Black instead of a cartoon caricature of one of the Rat Pack. Maybe the association is because of the black Chevelle we saw at SEMA this year -
that was the best black paint job I've ever seen.
This week's photos come to us from Don Clark, a vintage car enthusiast from Texas. Don had the following to say about his experience with the Stripe-It-All System:
"I recently learned about your products. Ordered right away, and applied your 6008 striping to my '67 Chevelle SS (gray centers), and my '69 Camaro restomod. WOW! And the installation was a breeze. I'm waiting for more material from you so that I can do a few more cars!"
Don has ordered twice, purchasing the
Stripe-It-All tool, 6008 GranTurismo Red, and 6032 Fire Red to match the calipers and emblems on his four kick-ass rods: a
'69 Camaro Z28 resto mod, a '67 Chevelle SS resto mod LS7, '65 Chevelle 2-door wagon resto mod and a '71 Camaro 396 resto mod. All his cars are fitted with gorgeous Rushforth Wheels. Don says, "Jason Rushforth is a good friend and a great guy." And since it's clear that Mr. Clark has impeccable taste and smarts, he wisely decided to save time by installing his rimstripes with the Stripe-It-All tool.
These are some of the best customer photos we've ever received:
Don even went so far as to hire a professional photographer for those outdoor shots:
Evan Chavez, who evidently does primarily portrait work even though the first example photo on his si
te featured a sweet seafoam green '57 Chevy Bel-Air.
Also, notice the last two photos - those were taken by Don in his game room,
complete with a soda fountain and an open theatre. Let that sink in ...
that's his game room. It looks like a museum! Expect to see more pictures from Don Clark's apparently insane classic car collection, 'cause I know I sure want to see more.
And just look where those rimstripes are installed - t
hose rims have rounded beads and referencing the outer edge to keep the stripe parallel with the edge is no small battle. We don't think it would be possible to install Rimstripes on these rims with just hand-eye coordination without getting a bad case of the wobblies. Don's stripes have achieved perfection - don't you think you could use a little more perfection in your life? Get yourself a Stripe-It-All Tool and experience some perfection.
Have you got a Z06 that needs Rimstripes? Have you checked out Mr. Groovy yet? We've specially modified our popular tool to fit a stripe down in there like you need, and it's now on the Stripe-It-All page and is available through the webstore!
