Show your purple pride by walking in local parade with other campus members
Purple pride will be on full display this Saturday during the Smoky Hill Museum Street Fair Parade and you're invited to be a part of it! Join other students, faculty, staff and family members as K-State Polytechnic teams up with Kansas Wesleyan University to represent and promote the "Salina Purple Friday" initiative. It is also a great way to show support for the Salina community. Volunteers should meet at Fire Station #1 on Elm Street at 9 a.m. on Sept. 28. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. and should finish up around 10:45. Along with walking, the K-State Polytechnic group will be handing out goodies to spectators on the parade route. Please wear purple!
Represent the campus in upcoming photo shoot
Be a face of the campus and help us tell K-State Polytechnic's story! The communications and marketing office is holding a photoshoot on Wednesday, Oct. 16 that will feature different programs and different areas of campus. If you have any interest at all, email Kim Bird, associate director of communications and marketing, at [email protected]. She will work with you on times, what to wear, and more.
